Californian based artist Andy Davis is one of my favourites, he has also just launched his Tumblr MyNameIsAndy which gives a real daily insight into his influences and inspirations.
Coke are celebrating their 125th Anniversary in style, they have enlisted the help of British Illustrator James Jarvis who has created 6 different can designs all featuring his simple but universal style. Right now the cans are only available in Hong Kong but I'm personally hoping these will get a worldwide release soon.
While i am here in Melbourne, Australia i hope to catch the Sugar Mountain show at the Forum Theatre featuring live music and art from the likes of Thomas Campbell, Ryan Tatar, Jay howell, Cody Hudson and Steven Harrington to name just a few.
Future Islands are an amazing Baltimore based band with a really great sound (at times Tom Waits meets passion Pit), it took me a while to track this song down after i heard it in the RedBull surf film 'Who Is J.O.B' featuring surfer Jamie O'Brien. I highly recomend listening to other track from them if you enjoy this one.
Yesterday i headed down to the SF Mollusk surf shop to pick up a few things before i head off to Melbourne on Tuesday, while there i discovered this amazing electric surf campervan created and built by local artist Jay Nelson. The fiberglass surf pod is complete with a water tank, stove, cabinets, fold-down table, convertible bed and surfboard rack on the roof. Jay has created such a beautiful creation that i wish i could of just taken it on the road.

Woodshop in San Francisco is the collaborative studio of Jeff Canham, Luke Bartels, Danny Hessand Josh Duthie. These four artists share a love of natural materials and working with their hands, my favourite have to be these beautiful detailed birdhouses by Luke and Jeff.
As i'm currently in San Francisco i had the pleasure to see some amazing art, one of those being the amazing work of Jeff Canham.See more of Jeffs beautiful work here.
I'm currently in San Francisco and i have to say it is one most amazing, friendly and creative places i have visited, so needless to say i have a whole heap of SF related art posts to come.
