Today down in Venice Beach i stopped by the brilliant Mollusk Surf Shop, came across some Birdwell Britches board shorts, founded in 1961 by Carrie "Surfin
Granny" Birdwell Mann, they come in over 20 colors and are just a great pair
of shorts that feel like they will last forever. The Birdwell trunks sit at a traditional
waist, so i suggest picking up these two sizes larger then your normal waist, this
will give the trunks a more loose and modern fit at the hip.
